Wilting

Wilting

A Poem by Mizar

Tears of Petals

Falling

one by one

drop by drop

drip, dripping IV

withering away

wilting roses

until nothing remains

but brittle black petals

and death gray hands

as winter, with gnashing teeth,

sinks in.
