Chapter 4: Crash Landing

Chapter 4: Crash Landing

A Chapter by True Mixer

I continued to plow my share of crops, even though it made no sense. At the late time it was, the crops weren't getting any sunlight anyway. But trying to tell him wouldn't be very effective. He never listens to me. He's just a mindless zombie of the corrupted government. It sickens me.

At last, it was 6. I could leave! I ran to the barn to grab my stuff. It was finally time for me to leave this terrible place...

And then something weird happened.

While I was running to the barn, I just happened to look up to the sky. I saw a strange looking light falling straight down to the barn. Fast. It was so fast the momentum caused it to plow right through the roof of the barn and crash into the floor inside. It made the ground shake to the point where I actually fell flat on my face. I looked up in awe to see the barn glowing.

The first thing I thought when I saw this was, "ALIENS!!!",but it didn't seem like there was any movement in the barn, so I pushed that idea out of my head. I wanted to run away, but my skates were in there, and I wouldn't get another pair if I lost this one, so I had to press on. The quake had shaken up my legs a bit, but I could still walk, so I kept going.

I slowly made my way to the barn. It was better to be safe than sorry. I crept into the barn, trying my best to be as 'Ninja-like' as possible. I had to squint my eyes to see because of the brightness of the... whatever it was. I tried to see what the item was, but I still couldn't make it out. I had to get closer. And closer... and closer.

Eventually I could finally make out what the thing was. It seemed to be some weird-looking piece of metal. It looked like steel, but the pattern made me think otherwise. My imagination started telling me it came from outer space. But that couldn't be...Could it? I reached for the weird object, and the second I touched it, the light radiating from it seemed to push itself away from the object, giving a clear look at what  it was, though I still had no idea what it was supposed to be.
