Grandma so sweet

Grandma so sweet

A Poem by Mixedthoughts
"

This one is for the sweet grandmas

"
Grandma so sweet...

Grandma so sweet she never fails to smile
Grandma so sweet she hugs like it’s going out of style
Grandma so sweet she is a very dear friend
Grandma so sweet she never thinks twice to lend out a hand

Such a dear sweet lady she is

when she prays it's always focused on others
She talks to him like he is right next to us as if he were my brother
Her faith so strong it's almost contagious
She ignited a light inside that makes me feel courageous

When you say thank you she so humbly shrugs her shoulders
Never taking credit and says "give thanks to the beholder"
So welcoming and wise, she always tries to do what's best
She takes me to church and is eager to park as a guest

Grandma so sweet

When times seem dark I can always look to her
Grandma so sweet she will be there for sure
What a blessing it is to be part of your life
I have the sweetest grandma of all Love,
Morgan Miles

No one is more welcoming than a loving Grandma. I sure miss mine. Just one suggestion. Your last line, "I have the sweetest grandma of all, that shows an inspiring way with Christ", is a bit long and out of place with the rest of the stanza. Try, "The love you bring, the way of Christ". It's your poem though.

I enjoyed your poem and affection toward your Grandma. Thanks for sharing.
