Labels

A Poem by Mixedthoughts

People can't put a finger on it
It seems to bother them
When there is a grey area they throw a fit
Trying to label the unique gem

Labels limit what it could be
A closed minded way to relate
Misusing the gift to see
Could have a toll on your fate

What is a label anyway?
Maybe a way to say how much you pay
Or to get included
Putting others down until they are muted

You feel your voice is greater
Your mind is strong
Following the steps of vador
And you are never wrong

The labels do come true
So be careful how you think
It directly connects with your hue
and helps you float or sink
