Cry For HelpA Poem by Yellow Wax WingsA poem about childhood depression and suicidal ideation
I have very few memories of my childhood
It's mostly been blocked out I hit DELETE on the memories Where people would throw things and shout Even the good memories I kept Are tinged with despair Too young to understand suicide Just knew I didn't want to be there I cried out for help Acted out, caused a scene But who believes a kid When they're just "being mean"? I tried to take myself out But they still didn't see I learned at a young age The only one who could help me was me
