Dream Walker

Dream Walker

A Poem by Mitchell Savage

Once, when waking from walking through your dreams,

I fell upon thousands of lights and streams

of consciousness

And I confessed my sins to your ghost.

Through the shadows of all the veils of all the selves you've shown to me

I found you,

sitting beneath a tree.

Eyes as black as blood burned at my presence in this secret, sacred place.

And when I touched your face, the darkness lifted

and drifted like smoke away

and I felt the absolution for my absence,

oil and incense into my souls hole

This is amazing! Your rhythm and imagery is excellent, and story of the poem leaves me wanting to know more. This is really great.
