-Goodbyes We Feel But Don't Speak-

-Goodbyes We Feel But Don't Speak-

A Poem by Cove Mitchell

The words begin to surface from the murky depths
The mist is dissipating more and more with each breath
Your face appears from beneath this darkness
Shadows  obscure  your  appearance
You don't look yourself
You're not the angel I remember
That porcelain face now looks drained of life
Like a poor imitation of the beauty it once held
The light in your eyes has dimmed
As if you're filled to the brim with grief
Grief you don't acknowledge
Yet it stands out, contrasted against your glacier filled eyes.
I still find you so beautiful...
You're a treacherous path I can't fallow...
Wishing you all the best...

The one you didn't see till it was too late-

It made me want to cry, to be honest. I love it though :)

This is very truthful to so many and it has much truth to the way it is read.
