At First A Friend, A Lesson in the end.A Poem by Misty.CThis poem is about bullying, I've never truly experienced any severe type of this, but my heart goes out out all of those who have.It scars me to the bone, the gritting of my teeth I press down on my pencil and try not to speak but its like it doesn't matter, you linger all around a paper ball hits my head, then falls to the ground, I slowly pick it up, unsure of what to do they look at me with expecting eyes but all I see is you. I uncrumple the piece of paper and written there in blue is the three little words I- Hate-You The tears sting my eyes, I just want to disappear To evaporate from this world and form one far away from here Remember when you stood up for me? When I was not alone... But you didn't want to stick out, So now you stand across the room. Do you enjoy laughing at me? Calling me mean names? When all I ever wanted... Was just to be your friend. I guess I shouldn't have been hopeful, When all good things, seem to end. I'll have to stand alone, until I find a TRUE friend.
