The Constant Search

This poem is about our constant search to feel complete by searching outside and forgetting to see inside.

There is always a part,

The better part

The missing part,

That's always apart.

Throughout our life

We search for the one,

The one that completes us

The one that saves us.

We are an ever changing part

That always feels incomplete,

cause the completeness of being complete

causes changes leaving us incomplete.

As one part fills, 

another leaves

Leaving a void, 

you cannot avoid.

Holding one part 

we constantly search for the other,

Not knowing that the crescent 

holds a beauty of its own.
