My Only Regret

This is a poem about a past love that I wished never got a way.

My heart is filled with anguish, emptiness, and pain,

Over a love I once had which now it hurts to mention her name.

Our relationship failed and we both where equally to blame,

How could a relationship so prefect go up in flames?

I constantly think about the good and the bad times we once had,

The moments we smiled together, to the moment she made me so thankful and glad.

We used to laugh, have fun, play, and get alone so well with each other,

We had developed a love bond so strong, that it could not be broken by another.

Still till this day, she holds a solid piece of my heart,

The rest of it died and became cold when we split apart.

Memories of her sweet perfume and pretty face still linger in my presence,

Visions of her physique make me yarn for her love at its true essence.

Crazy I Am! Crazy I Am! Old, Lost, Hopeless, and Pathetic,

For the day I allowed her to walk out my life; I will always "Regret It".
