A Willow Rose

A Willow Rose

A Poem by Cranky Old Bear

Every breath the stars take...Inbetween lakes
A willow rose amid a lagoon's ~ Gentle wakes..
To stand amidst the steeps of tortoise shells..
Shielding the distinctive bells..Of hearts noels.

With her pretty fingers..Stroking the deep merge..
Amidst the spindles of a ferried wheel's surge..
Whereto the sounds soared to the villages..
As candlelight ~ Composed upon pages...

Looking my way...Reminding me of her name..
Whilst my fears...Mourned amidst a flame...
Giving me breath.. To watch as the willow rose..
Over a lagoon... Of the sweet lights repose..

Between every wake ~ My tears once shed..
Whereat my lofty heart...Existed overhead..
