Lament Beat Of Bonfires

Lament Beat Of Bonfires

A Poem by Cranky Old Bear

Fireworks are what dreams are made of..
Filled with Kentish fire and ruffles...
Whilst beneath..The Calvary searches for love..
Amidst the masses ~ Neath night falls..

Lost mid misgivings...Dismissed by sleep.
Tremor'd by trumpets..Strummed 'pon bows..
Mid the pirates of echoes~ Risen in keep...
That thou may see amidst carriage flows..

'Pon a ferry built for exploration...
Challenged by the lament beat of bonfires..
Falling through the air...Draft by civilization..
Burning amidst the eyes..Of urgent dires..

Fireworks are what dreams are made of..
Brought on by kingdoms ~ As time sits above..
