Alone

Alone

A Poem by Mistaken
"

I wrote this for my project on the Holocaust

"

Dark clouds rolling

Thunder cracks

Fear striking me

to my core.

Thoughts forgotten

Running from my life

Breathing erratic

heart is stopped.

Rain is pouring

Eyes, blinded by tears, search for you

Can't see where I'm going

or what I'm turning into.

Why aren't you here?

Saving me from this lie?

What did I do to make you leave,

and put me in this life?

Eyes are closing,

My breathing is slowing

I lie down and wait for this

to come to an end.

If it doesn't then I'll be in this

pain stricken fear forever

Thanks again for leaving me here..

alone.

This is really good, sad, but good.

This is actually pretty good. Don't listen to Troll's review. That person obviously doesn't know what they're talking about.
