Injustice

Injustice

A Poem by Missy

Words are words-

Letters grouped together,

Sounds built in one.

Words describe the world-

The greens of the trees,

The blues of the sky.

But still-

Words do you no justice.

Words are thoughts-

Captured by tongue,

Spat out by pen.

Words create events-

Invitations to please,

Destinations to be.

But still-

Words never do you any justice.

Words are my joy-

Literature of my soul,

Novels of my heart.

Words are my bliss-

The life of my love,

Its originality my home.

But still,

Words still do you no justice-

No words are good enough for you

Aww, this was so sweet! The person is just so perfect in your eyes that no words, no matter how fancy or beautiful can even hope to compare itself. Very nice and heartfelt, good job!
