Under the holly tree

Under the holly tree

A Poem by Missy

Sitting under the holly tree-

The wind caresses my curves,

The air sifts its fingers through my hair,

The tree sheds its leaves to grow.

Sitting under the holly tree-

I'm safe from the world, safe from myself,

I'm one with the nature, one with myself,

I'm serene and relaxed, drifting into dreams.

Sitting under the holly tree-

The leaves prickle against my toes,

The branches tickle my arms,

The roots support my head.

Sitting under the holly tree-

It's where I can be me,

It's where I live to love,

It's where I can finally stop thinking.
