I love the way you love meA Poem by MissyI
could feel his breath, Hot upon my ear; I
could feel his hand, Clasped into mine; I
could feel his other hand, Gently placed upon my back. “I
love the way your eyes close, When you talk about your dreams; I
love the way your hips move, When you dance with me; I
love the way your breathing slows, When you start to fall asleep,” He
said. “I
love the way your feet guide me, When my own want to move the wrong
way; I love
the way your arms hold me, When my body is too weak to hold
itself; I
love the way you write to me, When we’re stuck far away,” I
said. I
could feel his eyes, Gazing into mine with passion; I
could feel his lips, As they brushed against my neck; I
could feel his breath, As he whispered when he spoke. “I
love the way your voice sounds, In the early morning bliss; I
love the way your feet move, Swiftly across the room; I
love the way you love me, In the midst of everyone else,” I
said. “I
love the way your words sound, In the comforting tone you always
use; I
love the way your hair moves, In the playful winds outdoors; I
love the way you love me, In the midst of everyone else,” He
said. © 2014 Missy |
