SpringA Poem by Missy
I watch as birds soar up over my head,
The sun gleaming its light, The trees rustle, As the wind blows over me. I see green as far as I can see, Hills fly up to touch the sky, Faces I know Come into place. I lie down and watch the clouds, Switching their places with each other. I look at my house- The dogs are playing, The birds are singing, The cats are purring. There are no burdens upon my chest, For it is spring. © 2014 Missy |
