To whom I think I love

To whom I think I love

A Poem by Missy
"

Just a poem I wrote.. I'd love your constructive criticism.. I'm new at writing poems so I don't even really know if it's really bad or not. but anyway thanks for reading.

"
To whom I think I love
I'll never forget the nights we stayed up til 2
talking about useless things
You see, it wasn't about talking

but being
being together in the presence of you and you in the presence of me

Feeling each others soul like a soft, warm, touch
on a dark and damp day
You made me feel like no one else could
You made me feel like nothing else mattered
because I had you

You made me feel like I could trust
and so I did
and by doing so I showed you I am not who you think I am
I am dark I am sad I am hopeless
I used you
You had every right to give up
You left me and as you left me
your love left me ripping through my body leaving scars

and everyday they still sting as I see you with her
They sting as I look from across the room and see how you look at her
If you'd only look at me to see
I still look at you the same way
