Who Killed the Teenager?A Poem by Speak in SilenceTeenagers Society's b***h Underweighted fame Just to get rich "Society's perfect!" "Society's fucked." All different opinions Most out of luck Cuts, bruises, burns "It was the cat" "It was an accident" All because you called her fat.. Blood, tears The war wages on All secrets hidden away Before the the break of dawn "I told my mom, But she didn't believe. Everything was always hidden Under my sleeve." "Mom I don't eat. He called me fat." "Hmm sounds like you, Always someone's stepping mat." Craving cutting, wanting more Don't you remember what we're fighting for? Forgive, forget That's what seems to be right "I'll write this letter for you for mom, Incase I don't return tonight." She cried for help But no one seemed to listen Starved to death Bled to death There's no change. Loss caused by society, Who killed the teenager.
