What would you do?

What would you do if I told you that I loved you?
Would you kiss me?
Would you change the subject, or maybe do nothing at all?
Would you walk away? then avoid my phone calls the next day?
Would you never want to talk to me again?

What would you say?
Would you say "I love you too"? or would you say it was too soon?
Would you say I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about?
Or would you lie, just to keep me there with you?

Author's Note

This is for everyone who have ever wondered the same thing. This is for the people who are afraid to say "I love you" to the one they love because they are afraid of their reaction. If you are reading this and thinking about someone my advise to you is tell them. Don't let the person you love the most slip through your fingers. It has happen to me, and it hurts. No matter what you think their reaction will be, tell them. Trust me if you don't tell them and you lose them, it hurts a hell of a lot more than if you never tell them.

This is a beautiful piece of writing that's so easy to relate to. It's funny because I was thinking about someone while reading this and then I saw your author's note. And I agree. It hurts a lot more to know that you're letting them slip away then it does to be rejected.
