Driving

Driving

A Poem by Simply Meag

When driving on a highway, you can slip into a thought process, bouncing from different areas of your life like many trampolines. Never knowing where you”ll end up or how far away you will go. The roads blend, just as these thoughts, and soon you end up much farther than you planned to go.

Ah yes, this is wonderful and so true. Both driving and letting our thoughts wander can take us on such grand journey. This is truly smooth writing, pulling the reader in and gifting them with a true enjoyment.

There is the center of a prose poem -- a poetic metaphor/image that happens to be expressed in prose.
