Prospera

Prospera

A Poem by Michaella R.
"

Hell is Empty! And all the devils are here.

"

She stared unto me

paranormal hazel

I will perform impressively

"Ariel, there is more" orders Prospera

She hast promised me liberty

she commands heavy, draining toil

Yet I melt for her, I will perform

hast my lady neglect that promise?

I would extend myself for her to walk on

To be under my Lady's feet, happily

She repays me this shameful way

Forever her slave, possession

"Dearly, I hold thee", was Prospera's assurance

She voiced so sweetly, grasp clenched me

My lady would not bend this decision

Or is it her known envy?

Does envy pass through her?

Grows her horns thick and red,

Forbids me to roam alone

She hast me in her grasp

I must be poor, powerless

For I can't persuade my lady

to desert the hell with me

She insists instead we remain

Yet another sullen discussion with Prospera

"Liberty is nothing when thou art with me"

I bend to her sweet, honeyed words

Forever with my lady, we fly this hell world.
