I don't know what happened..

Look, maybe I am at fault here

but I'd like it if I knew why.

Why can't just say the truth?

You know I never meant to hurt you

you know that is what was angled from him,

you two were done.

You said so yourself, then he fell for me.

Why can't we be friends?

He used me, you said so yourself

I don't even know where to begin.

 

It started with a text,

then it was a hug

followed by butterflys

then a kiss..

 

If I could take it back

I would, I lied to you about it all,

I never knew that you still loved him

I'm sorry.

I don't know how it happened.

We were being just friends

with a common favorite everything.

 

The more we talked the more I felt wrong

maybe you're better off without me as a friend...

but I miss you friend.

ok, so firstly well done, secondly there's a few mistakes. 3rd line down, you've missed a 'you' there. Second stanza, 3rd line down, 'buttterflys', should be 'butterflies'. Last stanza, last line (again 3rd), 'but I miss you friend', should be 'but I miss you, Friend', because you are calling him Friend, not saying my friend. Cool, okie dokes. :D
