We live in a cruel world
where drugs and alcohol take action
too much, around my house
you go missing,
your forever missing.

When it's a stranger
that's sad, when it's a girl
you knew its hard, scary.

Wishing and praying that
everything can change just once
so she can be home, again.

The emptiness lies in
the pit of my stomach
Oh how I wish we could be kids together
again, walking home from the bus
gossiping about all we knew..
boys.

My hearts set on a return
please come home.
