Montgomery <3

A Poem by Missy Moooooo

Red Roses racing in the distance
attacking a tree
tears jumping off faces,
black every where.
Weeping in corners
regret, shown on everyone's faces
regret, for not knowing them
regret, for hating you
regret, for not being there for you all the time.
Red roses racing in the distance
running from our minds....

Author's Note

Missy Moooooo
This is a poem I wrote July 16 2010 for my brother Montgomery Alexander Dugay Wood. He died at age 16 turning 17 in about a week. July 16 is a day I will never forget, one because he was a special kid two because it is also the day before my birthday <|3
I miss Monte so much!

Very strong, very said words. I'm so sorry for your loss. May I ask what the representation of the red roses was for you?

This is so sad..... But a great poem.. Great Job!

This is the saddest of poems as it is real, about a real soul, from someone close to him who loved him and was moved enough to write for him. I can see those tears jumping. That is the strongest image for me as, i suspect you were writing what you saw. Well done.
