The Queen

The Queen

A Poem by MissieLuna

The Queen

Today I looked upon a wishing well
And my heart began to swell
I saw the comfort of your eyes
So deep within its confines
Your voice an echo that rang so clear
It was almost as if you were here
But I'm never so lucky
My love is worth nothing
And you will not show
All this waiting has taken it's toll
No longer am I the princess you may seek
I have become my own evil queen
No longer shall I remain in one place
I will travel the world where my palace awaits
I will stop at nothing to ruin your life
To fill up this void til it feels right
Much in the way you ruined mine
Now I'm stuck in a world where everything rhymes
I suppose that's what's made me so evil and cruel
That and the fact that I wish to rule
Destroy every princess within this land
Ruin them all for finding their man
Take all the riches that I deserve
A castle of people ready to serve
Jewels in abundance that I can wear
And all of my subjects will treat me with care
If they do not it's their souls I will take
Torture their families for any mistake
I once had a heart that was pure
But being evil has such an allure
