Will you?

Will you?

A Poem by Violet Marie

Will you hold me?

Will you check for monsters under my bed?

Will you kill the spiders?

Will you take care of the nightmares that run in my head?

Will you hug me?

Will you hold and kiss my hand?

Will you open the door for me?

Will you let me draw our names in the sand?

Will you love me?

Will you deal with the songs I sing?

Will you get down on one knee,

And present a diamond ring?

Pondering questions,
I like this write, Amazing

Posted 12 Years Ago

So many questions!
I really liked this poem, we all need to ask these questions to those whom we love, to determine whether or not they are for real! which you portrayed here in this very poem.

I love how you repeated the 'Will you' in every line.

one suggestion..pleaase just disreguard it if what i say offends...but i was thinking with the last line/s it would perhaps sound better if you said:

Will you get down on one knee?
Will you present me a diamond ring?

just to keep with the question theme you have going..if not..it's still a great poem!

another thing..Welcome to Writerscafe :) I look forward to reading your future writing!

xx
