A pit of darkness, damp, and earthy smell. Soil under my finger nails as I climb towards the sun. Loose dirt trickles down to my prison to be lost forever in the murky water. I climb upwards once more towards the open space, a canvas awaiting its painter. Too long I have been silent, I will sow seeds once more. I've learnt my lesson Mother, no more shall I defile you. You will cleanse me and I shall demand no more. You swept me into darkness to teach me. Well I have learnt. I thank you. As you once imprisoned me, so shall you set me free. The sun hits my face for the first time since my rebirth and I thank you Mother. The air whips across my face, and I thank you. My feet find slid ground as I rejoice in sights long forgotten and I praise you Mother for your forgiveness.
