Over.

This is one I wrote after a break up. A lot of poetry is written about love and heartache but I never really 'got' it until I went through it myself. I found the experience oddly inspiring creatively.

Is it possible to feel so numb and be in so much pain? 

Never getting to kiss you or hold your hand again. 

All I want is sleep, but it doesn't ever come. 

Head hurts, heart aches, body drained, numb. 

Everything I see reminds me of you, 

Everything I say, everything I do.

Please just take it back and make it all okay, 

The thought is so depressing of another coming day. 

The tears just won't stop flowing 

And my mind just will not rest, 

Distance is an object

And you just failed the test.
