Just a little ray ...

This poem I wrote for a friend who I find to be an inspiration to most people who meet her, especially me.

Through the fog of suppression comes one ray of light,

I can't bare to lose it, I hold it so tight. 

Who's ever around and wherever we are, 

You bring along laughter and shine like a star. 

When the future looks hazy and the worlds closing in, 

You're wherever I'm going and everywhere I've been. 

You've been dragged through the storm, 

But came out so bright,

We're the lucky ones who share in your light. 

Wherever life take takes us, wherever we go,

We'll do things together, 

Just thought you should know.
