Nothing

Nothing

A Poem by Liz

You told me to write down everything.
To spill my soul onto paper
To let the words dance out of me,
To explain with pen what I cannot with tongue.

But there are no words
For how I feel.
No way to describe,
Except maybe

Nothing.

sometimes we dont need any words , sometimes we just feel it

You have found a way to express with words a feeling of despair that myself and many others feel on a day to day basis. Simple, short, to the point, magnificent. I like how personal it is, but at the same time it's distanced from you. Do you know what I mean?

Sometimes I hate words.
Nice little piece.

Seems like a way to describe the way I feel when my mind is so unfocused that I cannot write, I get the feeling of writers block.
