Connected

Connected

A Poem by Liz

Now in 3D!
And oh, how wonderful
That you can stare at that screen,
See the images,
So vivid, almost like
Real life!
The curves,
Textures,
Sounds,
Smells,
Sensations of
The world.
But perhaps better.
People,
Those who live and
Breathe and
Feel and
Be
Right before you,
They cannot download movies at warp speed.
They cannot solve answers,
Give info,
Whenever needed.
They cannot connect you to someone else
At the press of a button.
They can only live and
breathe and
Feel and
Watch,
So inadequately three-dimensional,
As you become so disconnected with all of your
Connections.

The screen permits us to be disconnected. This is what I get from the poem. If that was your intent, then well executed.
