Not Easily Forgot

Not Easily Forgot

A Poem by Miss Lissa

I sit under this tree

My skin touched softly

By nothing but the breeze

My lips soft and sweet

With the thought

Of you kissing me

Sometimes I think about

The distance between

The miles between

You and Me

Wishing I could fly

Sometimes thinking

Without you I could die

What can we use to cut

This piece of Devil's Pie

The never-ending sorrow

That the time brings

Cannot even divide

The thought of you

Seen in the light of me

That same glowing power

Easily lost by lustful desire

The thought of you

Not easily retired

Lingering on me

Like a murder for hire

Tearing away at my soul

Keeping me from my goal

Lord all I ask

Is take pity on my soul
