Our Story

 

When I think of you

My heart begins to fly

To memories of us

Is where it will always lie

 

I miss our days together

Back when everything was great

Easier and less complex

And we’d all be out late

 

Those times you said “I love you”

I never had a doubt

Because I too love you

And we’d never be without

 

Then you moved away

And I was so afraid

That something would come between us

And send us on our separate way

 

So instead of waiting for that moment

I came to realise

To part before out fateful demise

At least our friendship would remain

 

Yet now I never hear from you

And memories are all I got

And dreams of you of our times

That will never be forgot

 

So now we’ll live our lives

Parted for fated time

I hope in life we’ll meet again

All in but good time
