At EaseA Poem by MissKayPHow calm it can be in the in-between this under place dreams not yet disfigured by light
Sitting, I like to lean against the window catching soundbites and clips of the fast forward around me between half slumber
Sometimes, a smile is extended filling in the black and white with colors that deepen and voices that articulate
But mostly, I shut my eyes on the ringed fingers and strollers and her head falling on his shoulder
welcoming the screech of wheels as they trace this worn map my body knows so well
A mind can rest here © 2013 MissKayP |
