My eye's have finally been opened

I've made a realization.....
My eye's have been opened,
It took the destruction of my ever present concentration.
But my eye's have been opened,
I see now my foolishness.
My eye's have been opened,
I see now just how the people i thought i could trust were crouching in readiness,
My eye's have been opened,
To steal away the hope I had clung too.
My eye's have been opened,
Though for some reasons, it didn't seem like surprising news.
My eye's have been opened,
To just how much of a punching bag i have let myself become.
My eye's have been opened,
To just what i must do.
My eye's have finally been opened,
To a sight i never thought, and never wanted to think i would see.....
