My SuitA Poem by Shraddha PandeyA body image poemI must be wearing a suit. What else could these thick layers between bone and skin be if not a suit? "fat" you say? no no that can't be right...can it? This suit is warm and soft and comfortable not like this "fat" you speak of... ...but If I am wrong, what to do? The zipper is stuck and I cannot escape. I need someone to help me but no one comes close. my suit repels them. I no longer like my suit anymore this hot and uncomfortable thing that clings like flesh. This repulsive "fat" that is stuck to my body. My old suit with the broken zipper.
