Beautiful Beast

Beautiful Beast

A Poem by 水希

Expectation vs. Reality: Fairytale Edition

"
Little black butterflies
Little moth in disguise
Beauty and the beauty meet
Underneath the willow tree
They coo like doves and fall in love
Until the night hour strikes three
What he said and feels
She knows is real
And wouldn't change for anything
But then morning come
And the magic is done
Beauty is now beast
His kind heart is shredded apart
As she turns to leave
For the beast this time
Is what's inside
As the wretch complains
"You lied to me."
She took the jewels
The fabric bolts and tool
And left him for dead
Beast with beauty
And a beastly beauty
Are two completely different things

i like beastly rhymes with completely at the end there.

it's alright. I was able to picture everything. like, castles and vines where in my head.

there might be something missing. something about the beast or something. I wanted to picture the thing and couldn't. a beast always deserves description, I guess. nice, though.
