Violence for the Sake of Violence

Violence for the Sake of Violence

A Poem by 水希

Violence for the sake of violence

Hands always closed

The best way for beating

Before I know it, I'm consumed

My mind fades to black

And I awaken to crimson

I've become a spitting image

Of the one I hate the most

It's all his fault that life is unfair

Never feeling the warmth

Never feeling a caring hand

And I'm the bad guy

Everyone always sees the surface

No one sees the torment

When in the deepest depths

I waited for the blunt force

I was braced for it

What hurt most

Was the open hand

The soft comfort

And I was unravelled

Left bare for all to see

All including me

What years of torrents

Raging seas

And violence for the sake of violence

Had done to me

What's more frightening than the violence is the fact that you've become the spitting image. Violence begets violence....never truer than here

Hello, I guess. I'm 19. I write mostly dark and deep poetry, but I'm not averse to other genres. Reviews are cool. I take criticism well. I don't mind talking to others, so that's okay too. I like art.. more..
