Divergent Destiny

Divergent Destiny

A Poem by 水希

We came to a fork in the road

I couldn't look you in the eyes

For fear of being drawn in

I couldn't find the words

But they had to be said

Your hand through my hair

I felt my heart burn

At your gentle touch

We had to go our separate ways

You said you would wait

But I couldn't guarantee

That I would do the same

About
Hello, I guess. I'm 19. I write mostly dark and deep poetry, but I'm not averse to other genres. Reviews are cool. I take criticism well. I don't mind talking to others, so that's okay too. I like art.. more..
