Forever in a Lifetime

Forever in a Lifetime

A Poem by 水希

We tend to attach ourselves to the past

But it is a waste of potential

Life is continual change

Nothing lasts forever

The underlying quest is

To make our forever last

Forever is not eternal

Forever is not time

It is not to be measured

With how we live our lives

With how we act and feel

With no regrets and vivid memories

We can make forever real.

About
Hello, I guess. I'm 19. I write mostly dark and deep poetry, but I'm not averse to other genres. Reviews are cool. I take criticism well. I don't mind talking to others, so that's okay too. I like art.. more..
