Honey and WebsA Poem by 水希
Honeyed words and honeyed lips
A voice always soft and sweet Like a fly, you captured me Endless days and endless nights I fed upon them with such delight Honeyed speech and honeyed eyes I would've never thought it'd come the day When I'd be the one to say goodbye You stayed true to your nature And stung like a bee When I found the truth Those sweet words you fed to me Were beautiful lies Riddled in fantasies Perfect denials swept through my mind But I can't hide from fact This little bee was left behind © 2014 水希 |
