Honey and Webs

Honey and Webs

A Poem by 水希

Honeyed words and honeyed lips
A voice always soft and sweet
Like a fly, you captured me
Endless days and endless nights
I fed upon them with such delight
Honeyed speech and honeyed eyes
I would've never thought it'd come the day
When I'd be the one to say goodbye
You stayed true to your nature
And stung like a bee
When I found the truth
Those sweet words you fed to me
Were beautiful lies
Riddled in fantasies
Perfect denials swept through my mind
But I can't hide from fact
This little bee was left behind

About
Hello, I guess. I'm 19. I write mostly dark and deep poetry, but I'm not averse to other genres. Reviews are cool. I take criticism well. I don't mind talking to others, so that's okay too. I like art.. more..
