The Truth Behind the Pessimist

The Truth Behind the Pessimist

A Poem by 水希

The world is bright
Covered in light
There is no sorrow
No one lies

If you disagree
You'll have a plight
Against the masses
They'll spit on you
They'll call you crazy
You're cynical
Your sight is hazy
You haven't looked
Just agree
You're a pessimist
You useless flea

The world is black
The world is blue
The world is fake
The world is shrewd
I've opened my eyes
Maybe more than you
With my whole being
I've seen the truth
I've walked the road not many do.

About
Hello, I guess. I'm 19. I write mostly dark and deep poetry, but I'm not averse to other genres. Reviews are cool. I take criticism well. I don't mind talking to others, so that's okay too. I like art.. more..
