Change of the Seasons

Change of the Seasons

A Poem by 水希

Spring 春
Is the season of love and blooms
Of opening hearts and filling wombs
Of coming to life and born anew
This season boils into sweltering
Summer 夏
The season of burning
Burning passion and desire
Of sweltering anger
Of hearts consumed in fire
That simmer into
Fall 秋
When brown petals hit the ground
The love once bloomed
Withers and shrivels
The chill from all around
Drops further into a bleak
Winter 冬
The world turns blue and black
Like the hearts that began to crack
Everything is sleeping
To once again awake in spring
But the feelings aren't forgotten
And die, rotting and unresolved
Becoming black roses
Forever in the cold

About
Hello, I guess. I'm 19. I write mostly dark and deep poetry, but I'm not averse to other genres. Reviews are cool. I take criticism well. I don't mind talking to others, so that's okay too. I like art.. more..
