Whispers of the Night

Whispers of the Night

A Poem by Alexandria Watts
"

Just relax one night and listen to what's around you.

"
Your words slowly caressing the spine of my back.
Ticklish rhythms and rhymes of songs and stories fill my ears.
Your midnight sky embodying my twilight sunset captivates the stars around us.
Stainless and still they dance around us as the prologue of our story begins.

Listen.
Let the strawberries kisses melting away on my lips as the wind continues to whisper our love story.
Look inside my doe eyes as they set free your doves from your envaced spirit.
Listen to the small stream trickle down the rocky waterfall  warning us of this dangerous love zone that we've entered.

As the whispers of the night soon turn into shouts of the day our story comes to the end of a chapter.
The tender kiss of the moons reflection on our skin soon fades as we slowly fade away into slumber.

Goodnight young lovers is the last whisper of the night.
Until tomorrow.
