Faerie Circle

Faerie Circle

A Poem by Miss Mary Jane
"

I'm on a faerie kick right now, expect short stories soon.

"
I seek a way in, to a place which is lost.
Wandering, through the moonlit forest.
With my hand touching everything
as it moves as it sways.

A golden dream burns my eyes,
voices sing, and I am hypnotized.
I feel the land grow with me,
slow with me.

The kin of my ancestors calls to me,
with harp and voice.
They're bodies dance and swirl,
like mystic visions.
This is what it means to be wrapped in Poet's gloss.

My mind veiled, but I must remember not to forget.
As I sway with them, and am merry.
In this dreaming reality, beneath a mountain's moon.

This is beautiful. I like the the way the story unfolds. The flow is measured and very tight. There are some great lines. I really liked " I feel the land grow in me, slow with me." A fresh and beautiful piece of work.

I love this. I know the place you seek, and that elusive feeling when it seems to get close.
