Jim Part One

Jim Part One

A Poem by Miss Mary Jane

From the corner of my bleeding eye,
dropped a single tear of blood.
As I walked through the desert land,
searching, as I held out my hand.
I came upon the door of perception,
within my mind, like the swollen sands of time.

The door I opened only to find him,
oh so nonchalant in his black leather costume.
He smiled and all the while,
I wondered as he looked into my eyes.
I wondered if he knew I had seen him die...

it has a gothic feel to it, i had to read it a couple times before i even began to get the message (in the good sense!)
I had to stop and deconstruct the sentences in my head, to get a proper understanding
i love gothic writing, and i loved this
while it isn't a sad poem, it leaves and eerie presence in my head, and i loved it.

My name is Mary Jane, I'm just another character brought on to you by the gods. I believe in mystical adventures to heighten the passion of life. I like to go out into nature and worship pagan deities.. more..
