Window

A Poem by Miss Mary Jane

You're over a thousand miles away,

yet when we talk my heart beat's faster.

Loving you, like the dead, like a sickness.

Festering in my heart, for years now.

The window depicts so many scenes,

when you look in though, I am searching, looking out.

Reaching out for you.

While my body is claimed by gravity,

my mind ravaged by obscurities.

I'm closer and yet farther all the time.

Catch me while gravity takes hold.

I cannot take this hollow home.

My back turned from the window.

I choose to live, I choose to leave.

About
My name is Mary Jane, I'm just another character brought on to you by the gods. I believe in mystical adventures to heighten the passion of life. I like to go out into nature and worship pagan deities.. more..
