Old FriendsA Poem by Miss Mary JaneWe'll drink the stars, until we glow with their demise. We'll stop the night, so that we never have to waste the dawn. I promise you all that I'll be with you until the end. Because I remember the sleepless nights, and telephone calls. Because I remember the robo tripping and heavy drinking that infected us all. We'll own the galaxy, and all the nebulas, dying stars of brilliant astral swirl. This severed garden we will know no more. When we become one once more under the summer sun. © 2009 Miss Mary Jane |
