I would have left everything.

I fell in love with a ghost.

Once upon a time,

I fucked you over with myself.

 

Once upon a time,

I thought I could walk the line.

Once upon a time,

I thought you could too.

 

Once upon a time,

I believed in fairy tales.

Once upon a time,

You were the night in shining armor too.

 

Now I know that "Once upon a time,"

Isn't always true.

Nice ending. I like when last lines kind of sum up the purpose of a piece of writing. This would be a good song ;)
